The breakfast here was enjoyable with a good variety of meals, the rooms are spacious with a balcony offering a view of the White House and the park along with big windows, and the staff is courteous.

Generally, the place was luxury and had helpful and caring staff from the reception desk to the concierge to the doorman. The location was perfect and magnificent, you can visit Farragut Square by walking. Booked a room with incredibly beautiful views of the park. The food provided was excellent.

Location was great. Wonderful room. Two good restaurants with great staff but a bit expensive. All staff members were great! Fitness room was available even in this boutique setting. My son lost his stuffed animal while we were there and they left a new one in the room for him - it made him very happy (they later found his but let him keep the new one, "Freddie".

Restaurant was too expensive, especially for breakfast. Fitness room was a bit small.

Beautiful hotel, inside and out, in best location in the city - across from White House and Lafayette Park, and St. John's church. Gorgeous and tranquil furnishings and decoration, top of the line linens, everything clean, extremely nice and helpful staff. Pricey - you are paying a premium for staying here, but not that much more than other hotels in central dc that lack the Hay-Adams history, beauty, and charm. The Lafayette Room restaurant is superb and has been for many years, and is also just lovely and a grand place for a leisurely lunch or dinner.

A unique historical hotel with quite appeal. We loved compact but very friendly reception area that provided great service for everything. A stone throw away from nations canter and great monuments kept us outdoor most of the time.

Loved to be here, the hotel was fairly clean and wonderful, the location was marvellous near major attractions. The property's stuff was pleasant and exceptional. The food was superb and the breakfast was wonderful. The service was amazing with an early check-in. Could use their overnight parking. We had an amazing time staying at this hotel.

"This is the best house in the town" as a formal ambassador describe the Hay Adams Hotel to me, and indeed, this is the most excellence but friedly hotel I have ever visited. Beautiful interior, perfect location - just in front of the White House - gourmet breakfast, great staff, a few among the many features what this hotel offers to its guests. This hotel is perfect for visitors with high expectations.

The room had a classy and stylish vibe with a nice balcony to enjoy. 🌿 Plus, you could easily reach the Washington Monument from here.

The Hay Adams was everything we hoped for in a luxury, urban hotel: friendly and efficient staff, clean comfortable rooms and exceptional, reasonably priced dining. An additional bonus is that we already knows where we are going to stay the next time we are in Washington.
